SAHAN Society Centre had initially focused and specialized in working with Somali families, particularly mothers and children, living in the London Borough of Hillingdon and neighbouring west London localities like Ealing and Hounslow by promoting their health and wellbeing through practical strategies like education and leisure activities, helping to promote cohesion and integration in a way that benefits communities in general and to bridge the gap between Somali mothers and service providers therefore improving their quality of lives.

The centre now offers a more holistic approach in terms of the services offered to the 300 members of the community offering a diverse range of services from training courses on ESOL and health and social care through to working on documentary projects and leisure activities focusing on wider local and national issues affecting the community to include childcare and mental health awareness. The centre is a trusted organisation in the community, lending a diligent ear to Somali families requiring confidential assistance and the ability to work with our service users to deliver positive outcomes for those seeking our assistance.
